My recollection is that '75 is when they changed to the good door locks
(sorry, Chris, my preference is just the opposite of yours, even if I
have to dig out my spare key more times that I'd like to admit). :-)
However, I can't verify the date from the parts book as only the new
mechanism was serviced--437 812 and 813 C94 and it notes they will work
for 395 633 amd 634 C92, which I presume are the older mechanisms. I'm
pretty sure the 74 I had had the older mechanism and you're saying your
75 had the new ones, so that's likely the date of the change.
