[ihc] About those Allisons
I have only removed one allison out of a loadstar bus behind and sv engine. It has the spacer behind the flexplate for sure. In fact, there is a guy who dismantled a lot of loadstar buses with the sv and allisons that I intend to talk to soon to see what he has left in the way of parts. For anyone building up a truck, these might be the best choice for an automatic. The shift is crisp and in a light truck they would be almost indestrictible. Only thing is that these allisons that I am familiar with do not have a PARK. You'd have to work around that if you want to install one. On buses with air brakes, having a park option in the tranny is overcome by using the parking brake.
