[ihc] Tcases 201, 202, 205
Okay Smartypants!
Now, how do I tell the difference?
I know the shift pattern in the 205 is the same as the 20/300, front to
back: 4L-N-2H-4H.
I thought I remember the way to tell a 205 from the others is the 3-bolt
cover on the intermediate shaft
between the large round cover and the output shaft? So the earlier trucks
that had a great big
transfercase, are those just as good or what? If a friend is trying to
convert a 2wd to 4wd would one be better than another?
Thanks!

'55 'til the early '60's - NP201
Early '60's 'til '70-ish - NP202
After that - NP205
