My long-term solution for my truck may be something like ZeroRust on the
floor, some spray-on sound dampening "paint" (can't remember the name
now), some Reflectix to cut the heat, then a NOS floor mat for
wall-to-wall rubber matting.
Why bother with NOS when it's availiible brand new?

What type of wall-to-wall floor coverings are available new? I was
checking on JC Whitney's web site and found carpeting (which I've said
I'd rather avoid) specific to Scouts (but not Scout II's, IIRC) but
nothing which would qualify as "rubber matting". I did see a heavy-duty
1/8" molded vinyl product that looked nice (you can hose out your truck)
but it wasn't available for any International application. With it
being molded, I'd have to find something nearly identical in terms of
center hump dimensions. Rhinolining the cab would still be done, but I
can use just about any type of insulation on top of that if a good
rubber-type covering were available.
