Well, nobody said they had reservations about what I should have found 
under my bubbled Bondo, but some of you probably did.

Did some grinding, and yep, the rust is there underneath the bondo. The 
space between the inner an outer fender was full of crap, perfect for 
holding water next to the metal, so it could rust well.

I'm improvising a repair, which if it works out well, I'll share later. 
If it doesn't work, you probably won't hear about it.

I just couldn't believe all the crap that was trapped in there. Plus to 
make it worse, IH has a wire running along in that space in order to 
help hold stuff in there.

Seems likely that part of the rust problem might have been aggravated 
by the body work that was done in that area.
