If it has EGR, it has soft plugs underneath(or gaping holes for them ;) ).
That's where the EGR port cores evacuate after casting. Lots of good ideas
so far, sure sounds like a massive vacuum leak. Did you go from 9 stand to
5(4?)stand rocker arms and fail to plug the extra holes?
