I wasn't really suggesting that you have a shorted trailer plug; just
that you may have an intermittent short somewhere.

I'll need to check that trailer harness.. I could see it have gotten cut
on
something back there... except... I only have a flat plug back there,
there
shouldn't be any power to any of those circuits just going down the
road...
guess that rules that one out....
