my complaint isn't with the performance of the transmission...  it's that
it's an automatic at all.  i don't want yet another automatic to deal with.
i *like* manual transmissions.  i also like having a clutch, for no
particular reason other than an extra pedal on the floor to push.
basically, i just prefer to be able to manually press the pedal and move the
lever to shift my gears.  it may be inconvenient from time to time, but it's
just something i enjoy enough to ignore the occasional inconveniences.  just
little idiosyncracies on my part.
