Could be the lines, crack in the lines, maybe even a hairline crack in the
lines that gets bigger when hot?

When my shifter shaft seals were bad, it *only* leaked when left sitting for
extended periods, the more it was driven, the less it leaked.

BTW, you didn't have too much fluid in it did you? Maybe it just dumped some
out when it was warmed up and drained some out of the t/c.
