The 4cyl 80/800's use a completely different collar from the other
SV's, looks totally different, and is most deffinitly not
interchangable... Not to mention the smaller diameter of the input
shaft. However the shaft is the same for 3 speeds and 4 speeds thank
goodness....

I think they probably exist to accomodate different bellhousings -
both length and method of actuation.
A hydraulic clutch may take a different length collar than a
mechanical, or a cable. The 4cyl Scout 80/800 bellhousings may use
a shorter collar simply because the bellhousing is shorter, too.
