Semi-conductors are the main cause of problems when hot but working when
cold...
I've had this happened where cold it started up fine.. once it was hot it
would first start to run rough then completely die and then I would have to
wait for it to cool down completely before it would start again...
What kind of vehicle is this? Is this a gold box? or a prestolite
distributor?
Either swap it out with another one if you can.. even just to borrow one
from another IH.. just to prove the point..
or once it dies test for spark.
