David, not only that, but your electrical system would not be able to feed enough power to it unless you had a very 
high output alternator and a relay system to feed it.

I thought about the same thing for my '79 Scout 2 and came to the conclusion that the conversion would require a lot of 
$$$ for not much gain.

The stock fan with stock radiator with a good fan clutch works just fine.
