Re: [ihc] Robertshaw 'Stats, Anyone?
Next time I get near AutoZone I'll look at the two brands they have and see
if anything will work. It's easy to tell by looking one you've seen what is
needed.
I have a Farmall M tractor that has been a chronic overheater since we got
it. We pulled the radiator out last weekend because it needed to be boiled
out and some leaks fixed. Guess what! The cooling system in the M is
exactly like the bypass system in the 345. And guess what doesn't have a
thermostat in it!!! Grrrrrrr! My Case-IH dealer claims to have the real IH
part for it so I'm going to get one Saturday.
It's the same style as a 345 but the same thermostat won't fit, different
diameter.
I'll see if he has one for a 345. Seems to me they were used in combines at
some point. Never know, it might work.
