[ihc] 73 1010 brake parts...

Thanks for the suggestion. Production date is Jan 73.
I did find the parts at Carquest, I hope. I wont see the front brake hoses
till this Fri, and Ill pick up the pads the same day too. He had the shoes in
stock so I have them now.
I hope they are the correct parts. If not, I will try 74 anyway, even though
mine is an early 73 production date.

The original? battery post clamps really look strange. You use a pair of
pliers to squeeze the clamp open, place it over the battery post, and release it.
This clamps it to the battery post.I guess I should replace them eventually.
Ill wait to see if they give me problems, though they have worked for 30 years
now. :-)
The front bumper has 2 push bars on it. They are about 2 feet tall, made from
round steel stock and are bolted through the bumper to the frame bracket.
They look and feel extremely stout. One has a sticker on it that reads:
"Smash Hit Car Catcher".
Interesting that.
