Well, I guess one shaft COULD be the same, but not both unless you moved
the rear axle back the thickenss of the T/C.  But I would doubt if there
were any effort to keep one the same.  As I picture them, you would have
two about equal length ones in a 4x2 vs a short one into the T/C and a
longer one to the R/A on a 4x4, although I haven't spent much time under
light lines to know for sure.  If the 10 digit codes for the shafts
aren't the same, the shafts aren't the same.

That 10 digit code contains everything a shaft builder needs to know to
build the shaft--length, diameter, yokes, etc.  I don't know the system
to read these numbers, but they do have a meaning.  Perhaps Earl C has
that info at his fingertips.
