that's only true if the tie rod has adjustments at both ends, Ryan.  our
1968 800 and 1970 800A Scouts both have the drag link attached to the tie
rod somewhere close to centre of the axle pumpkin.  in both cases, the
adjuster is only at one end of the tie rod, not both, which means any
adjustment you make will affect total toe-in or -out and possibly steering
wheel placement.  they put the adjuster directly above the springs too, and
that makes adjustment something of a bear to do.

what's odd is that for the two Scouts, the adjustments are on opposite
sides.  the 800A has the adjuster on the driver's side, and the 800 has it
on the passenger side.  you can't just flip the tie rod around to swap which
end goes where because of the tie rod link, so at some point IH had to have
redesigned the tie rod.  i wonder why?
