Dana 18?

OK,
I know that the Dana 18 TC is primarily a J**p item.
But, will it bolt up to a T-18 or T-19 IH tranny?
Don't yell or throw rocks at me.
I saw a Scout in the "owner's section" of a 4x4 magazine that had a Dana
18 (no, I didn't physically see it, yes, he could have been lying)
behind a T-19 WR.
I am just trying to find a semi-alternative to a Dana 300 (unless
someone out there will sell me one for $100.  ;]
I will be expecting a phone call later from Joel B., scolding me for not
just installing the 3.07s, T-19A and running with Dana 20 and being darn
thankful for them (It's a long story for another time).
I have seen an article where someone put D18 gears in a D20 case and got
the 2.42 ratio.
Any info would be greatly appreciated and please be gentle.
