Should be.. 76-ish through 80 had a light on the dash, lower right corner 
of the speed-o, for "Front axle engaged"

Mine doesn't work because I didn't reconnect the plug when I swapped 
transfercases last.. not that my '72 Dana 20 had the plug, either..
