Digesters:  I bought a 75 about 2 weeks ago and am getting it up into
operating condition.  While under neath fixing the leak in my oil filter
base I discovered a strange looking device I have never seen on any
scout before. There is a tubular bracket that is bolted to the frame
with U bolts just behind the rear spring bracket on both sides.  The
tube is about 1.5 inches in dia. and runs under the bell housing where
it joins the engine and follows the countour of the bell housing.  There
is about a 2 inch plate welded to the bottom of this thing with 3 holes
in it.  the plate is about 1/16th thick and about l5 inches long.  Any
body ever see one of these?
