Re[2]: Headgaskets, Improved cooling???

     John, and others,
     
        I already have fel-pro gaskets on the valve covers.
     
     What else comes in the kit?  Basically I should order the 392, AND the 
     345 kits and make sure that there is a difference, then return the 345 
     set?
     
        I'll look at them maybe tonight at the store.
     
        I'm really dreading this job.

Get the kit... the valve covers will leak eventually. <grin>

Definitely.

There will be long cooling passageways (slots) at the back of each block 
deck on the IC model.  The IC gaskets work in such a way as to properly 
seal these passageways, whereas a non-IC gasket will leave part of these 
slots un-sealed.

Using a 345 is an excellent way to compare.
