RE: Think before you buy...
Steve, not to split hairs here (as I perpetuate a thread that has at best
mild interest for probably 3 of us), but wasn't the 'old' JCL the DOS stuff
with the dollar signs & periods, and the 'new' JCL the OS/MVS style with
slashes and asterisks? I'm pretty sure the 'new' wasn't running in the 60's,
and I sure hope MD wasn't running DOS in 1989! Sorry, I couldn't help but
chime in.....
IHC Content: My 73 Scout II has survived my forays through both types of JCL,
PC DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, NT 4.0 Workstation, a dabbling of in Unix in
between, and waits for the next 'revolution'.....
Sorry for the WOB,
Ross Walsmith (who has spent some late nites fixing JCL in his day)
