I'd go with the Tuffy console. You are going to need more lockable
storage anyhow, and this will also protect your stereo. Of course,
no security product is 100% (even removing your stereo - you'll forget
some day), and the Tuffy product can be pryed open with a crowbar.
But heck, how many thieves want the visibility of standing up in your
scout, and using their handy 3' crowbar to pry that open? Well,
actually at least one - who did exactly that to a scout owner on the
digest or bulletin board a couple of years back. But the average
thief would be deterred.
I think any of the DIN-sized stereo units will fit. The double-dins,
and a few others won't.
