Per my discussions with a braking engineer at Wilwood (makers of
aftermarket braking systems for race cars & street rods), I'd say you've
got the situation backwards. I was told the worst possible braking
situation is a rear wheel only lockup.
As to Jeff's situation, I think it could be corrected by adding an
aftermarket proprtioning valve to correct the rear lockup. Or maybe his
front brakes need to be redone so that he'll have more even distribution of
braking. Which, incidently, should be 60% front 40% rears.
