I hate to say this, but don't waste too much time looking for that 727 to
D300
adaptor in a 1980 Wagoneer:

I am pretty sure the jeep dana 300 will be a direct swap onto the 727
automatic/ 208 tailshaft with no mods.
The tailshaft should be jeep specific to the jeep dana 300 and jeep 208,
not the gm 208 pattern.
(after removing the 208 of course)
