Volvostar????

In the 2/22/99 issue of Transport Topics, there is an article that says that
Volvo confirmed that it is in talks with Navistar.  Navistar's price is
rumored to be in the 3 billion range, but would be substantially lower if
they only bought Navistar's heavy truck business.  Volvo is also talking to
Renault about acquiring Mack Trucks.  I guess they're itching to spend some
of that 6.3 billion that they're getting for the auto division.
