Sorry John, I knew that I had talked with someone about tanks with
straps, but couldn't remember who it was.

Subject: 33 gallon gas tank straps

If anyone cares I have a 33 gallon tank with straps and it still has
the
locating tab for the framerail. I have a 2 inch body lift so I need to
cut
the perches off and weld them back on two inches higher so the filler
tube
lines up.

But if no one cares....you can read about the 33 gallon tank install
on the
binder bullitin where I submitted a article on the install and do,s
and
