Duck!!! I am having a Manderaism
I was driving and thinking today about how to recurve a distributor(the easy
way). Then a though popped into my mind, what about taking an old engine
core, with the crank, flywheel and harmonic balancer and cam still in it,
but take the pistons out, hook up an ac motor to where the starter use to
mount. Leave a 12 volt system attached and you have your very own
distributor machine. Set the speed of the ac motor to what ever rpm you
want by watching a tach, and use a regular timing light to get the data you
need. You could play with the timing curve to your hearts content!!
What do ya think? Have I been reading too many of Mandera's posts?
