Some days, Y'all, You just can't win.

earlier today I got into a discussion with a fellow classmate, Mike, about scouts.

Despite the fact that we were inspecting (read drooling) the parts Instructors '73 w/ 304, he insisted that all scouts ever made came with a 4 cylinder.

so after confirming with him that my copy of color history of international truck would be a satisfactory source for information on which engines were used, I hiked out to my car on my luch break to get my book, and brought it back.  He immediately flipped to the 1962 ad, and pointed to where it said "all have a 93 hp 4 cylinder engine..."

and still is insisting that all 6 and 8 cylinder engines were aftermarket installations.

some people.  but then again, this is the same guy who thought it would be a good idea to use a impact to tighten the main cap bolts on a 60 series.
