Rare Bird??

Has anyone ever seen a 3 or 4 spd. manual trans. behind the 401 AMC in
the IH's? I haven't found anyone who has so I'm beginning to think if a
person ordered the optional AMC V8, a standard trans. could not be had.
Any feedback? This would've allowed IH to skip casting a special
bellhousing.


Also, can someone tell me how the 1310 and 1510 models differed from the
1210? I'd like to upgrade mine to a heavier truck. Is it just in the
springs or did they have heavier duty axles as well? Were they available
as a 4x4? A crewcab 4x4?
