Dennis, Neil, and any Bay Area Digesters-

Just wanted to let you know that I am back to work at the Blue Lamp
now.  I started last Sunday and am working Sundays and Fridays right
now.  Also wanted to tell you that if you have an inkling to go out for
a wee taste this evening, we have a little "special" show going on at
around 7:00 PM tonight.  The show "Bring da' Funk, Bring da' Noise" or
whatever the exact title is, currently playing at the Golden Gate
Theater is closing today.  Some of the guys from the show come into the
bar sometimes, and tonight at 7:00 one of them is putting on a special
little impromptu performance at the bar.  The last time he did this, it
basically turned into a cast party/talent show, and was very cool.  They
had a guy with bongos and Savion Glover doing a bongo/tap dance duel,
several different players and singers performing a great many things,
and, of course, one of the world's GREAT fire-breathing bartenders.
Our scheduled entertainment starts at around 9:00, so it will probably
be interesting all night.  And because of the last second, informal
nature of this occurence, I can certainly not vouch for the validity of
this being earth-shaking, but the last time they did it on a closing
night-for "Jelly's last Jam," it was spectacular.
