hardened valve seats

Working on every other type of viechle I have worked on, there is no 
real way to tell if you have hardened seats in the heads. Are they off 
the engine or on. Without takeing off the valvecovers there is really no 
way of telling how much longer the valve seats will last. I would pull a 
valvecover and look at the seals. You will see small cracks around the 
stems of the worn ones.
