1981 Scout II's

Howard and I have been talking about how the 1981 Scout II's made it to
Australia. I have been convinced by Howard that these models were 1978
and 79's that were shipped to Australia and titled as 81's. So, I
wonder, do any of our Australian digesters have an 81 Scout II? Or if
you have a Scout II at all, what is it titled as and what is the build
date on the VIN plate? That would be mor helpful info. If there was a
noticable lag in the time they were built and the time they were titled,
that would explaine the 1981's.
