FRONT DRIVE LINE LENGTH

I just called 2 light line distributors, 
they both confirmed as follows:

There is a 1" difference between the V8 4SPD and Auto trans
front driveline with the auto being the longer one.

The Transfer case is 1" rearward with the auto trans.

The tranfer case cross member is bolted to the frame in
the EXACT same location with either the auto or manual.

The 4spd manual sits directly on top of the tranny mount
then directly on the cross member.

The Auto uses an off set bracket firmly bolted to the
tranny, the bracket sits on top of the rubber mount,
directly on the crossmember.
