My Scout 800 addition to the family

Hello everyone,
This is a note to all my friends and family to let you all know about my
newest member of the family.

Well it was a full moon on October 5th and I went to Potlatch Idaho to
purchase two Scout 800s. One is a 1967 the other a 68. I found them in use
as a daily driver last Spring and fell in love and had to have them. 

The 1967 has 78,000 original miles on it. Its a 196 (half a 392) 4
cyclinder with a T-18 4-speed and a Dana 20 transfer case. It has low
gears(4:something to 1). Its has been repainted but the only fault is a 4"
rip in the drivers seat, small dent in the rear corner  and a palm sized
dent in the front fender. It comes with another fender to replace the
dented one. Its immaculate inside and looks like it rolled off the assembly
line yesterday.
It has a Mack bulldog on the front center of the hood(resembles my
Bullmastiff dog Larp).
Everything works great and I expect to win best original at the
International shows next year with it. Drives nice and gets 14-16 MPG
around town and about 20 on the highway.

I think I will get some magnetic door signs with my business logo and name
on them and then my new Scout becomes a tax right off for advertising...ah ha

The second one is a 1968 Scout 800 that has the motor and trannie removed
and disassembled. It is a 4-speed with a 196 as well. White in color and
the body has a few dents but appears to be in good condition(limited rust).
I am pondering selling this body or using it to put on a Scout 2 frame and
make a stout offroader out of it, or I may rebuild it and sell it in stock
shape.
