Stalls when you hit the gas quickly?  Bang your head on the steering 
wheel and then runs normally.

EPA standard design of the 70's.  Set your accelerator pump richer if it 
is adjustable.  OEM carbs of the 70's had the adjustment designed out for 
the most part.  Set the timing forward maybe 5 deg BTDC.  This should 
make it run better.
