        Glad to see you finally made it to posting!  Good point about PHX at 
1100, and TUC at 2600!  Hadn't thought of that before.  Plus, he might have had 
the wind with him going, and against, returning.

        Let me know about that gauge, it's in my Travelall.  Speaking of that, 
has anyone ever looked at the numbers (ohms) for different manufacturers gauges?
 I bought a chevy and an IH sender, and was hoping to make the chevy give me 
more reading on the IH gauge.  Anyone try this?

     Hi All,
     
     I just saw Mark's post about his gas mileage
     while going "up" to Phoenix from Tucson.
     He actually drove about 120 miles downhill
     to Phoenix. It's only "up" on the map.<grin>
