     Has anyone found a product that takes the glue off without 
     tons of elbow grease?

     Try Bug, Tar, and Grease remover - it's pretty good about cutting just 
     about anything (other than paint).  Rubbing alcohol might also work, 
     but probably not nearly as well.  (Oh, and the grease remover will cut 
     any wax you have on the paint - although I don't know how relevant 
     this is for an IH...)
