This is a perfect place to apply the Zen law of IHC electricals:
Take it apart, clean it, put it back together.

In this case you have to do the rear lights too.  If one bulb 
(or ground) goes out, the dash indicator will light but not
blink.  (That feature lets you manually switch the lever to 
signal with the working light.)

I had to solder a ground lead onto one of the front sockets; 
the case would not conduct where the socket connects.

You did some mud'n recently - clean & check all of the grounds & 
connnections.  That Jersey silt eats trucks.
