Michael's Still Got Problems

When I first saw the title of your post, "Michael's Problem," I expected
to open the mail and find the number for a shrink or a mail order bride
company, as those are big problems in my life too, at this point! Heck,
I was debating getting a tic to Nationals to meet Andrew's "Hot, Blonde,
Babe!" Remember, Harais says I look like "Renegade"!
Anyway, I only mentioned the Gold Box because I have heard so many
complaints about it. I don't even know what/where one really is, though
I believe Tom H. pointed it out to me on my '68 T'all once. As you
said, the ignition system is easiest to play with, and I have gone
through everything here, I think. I don't want to replace everything
again, but could probably yank the working coil from my '68 T'all and
try it in there (they're both 345's). I did replace spark plug wires,
but have another set so I can try those again. I have checked wire
sequence more times than I've pulled hair over this thing. I also don't
know how to clear the distributor without swapping it out, and I hate to
swap it in on warranty if I don't know that it doesn't work.
Unfortunately, the three or so hours I played with it last night may be
the extent of my time for the weekend, so I am going to print out all
suggestions that come in so I don't lose them. Please, anyone with
input keep sending it! School is nuts right now, but I will answer try
just about anything!
