Binder Racing

I was at the CART race at Road America.  When I was in the paddock one of
the race transporter trucks caught my attention with "Binder Racing" on the
side of the trailer.  I never got the chance to meet the Binder Racing crew
but throughout the weekend I carefully watched the non-CART series practices
and qualifying sessions hoping to see the Binder Racing car.  There were two
Binder Racing entrys listed in the program for the Toyota Atlantic series -
Car No. 7 driven by Cam Binder of Calgary Alberta and Car No. 78 driven by
David Rutledge of W. Vancouver, BC.  Both cars were the Swift 008.a chassis.
I don't know if Cam is interested in Internationals or not, but with that
name he should have a Navistar pulling the tranporter instead of a Freightliner!

For anyone that hasn't checked out the Newman/Haas cars of Michael Andretti
and Christian Fittipaldi in the CART series, look at the side of the body
just forward of the front suspension.  The Navistar logo is located there
and just under it are the words we all love so much: International Trucks
