Re: binder capacity

There is no comparison! I recently loaded my 1994 F-250 with gravel and
it was 1 inch from bottoming out. For the second load I push started my
latest project, a 1950 L-120 (that's a 3/4 ton for all you Scouter's)
and drove off to the gravel yard. Once loaded, I walked around back and
looked at the springs. It wasn't even near the auxiliary springs yet.
All in all it looked like it had dropped maybe 2 inches! Both trucks
have an 8 foot bed and were loaded from the same front end loader. The
ride home in the Ford was a nightmare, it swayed and groaned all the way
home. It was as smooth as could be in my IHC. Keep in mind this truck
is nearly 50 years old! I hope I work that well at that age. ;-)
