Students, edu., etc.
HI Folks-
Just thought you might like to know that I am in school full-time, too.
I'm almost half-way through Chiropractic College and have my own
internet server at home because our computer lab is only open those
incredibly limited hours like 7:00AM-10:00PM. Our gas is currently
about $1.50 I think, and I don't have to worry about paying that to keep
my Scout full, because this damn rain won't stop and the Scout hasn't
run in three months-I've had it apart for about the last two trying to
get it figured out. However, I'm the guy with the '68 T'all under
restoration, the '73 Scout that's "overfiring," the '66 Dodge Monaco
(Classic 4-door Granny cruiser) that makes up for my lack of a
gas-guzzling Binder-about 14 mpg on a good day going downhill, and the
three motorcycles-actually I just gave one to a friend for 25 hours of
help working on my Scout.
So as to the question of paying for all of this crap...The answer to my
question is that one job that remains a constant no matter the
economy-bartending! I work at a great little bar where I've continued
to work throughout school and make as much in three nights as many
people make in a week. I keep hoping to cut down to two nights a week,
but obviously keep finding too many toys!!! Anyway, I'm not going to
tell you that Chiropractic cures cancer, but if you throw your back out
pulling those heads, I'll be able to help!
Thanks!
Michael
