Body Lift Questions

IH everybody,

Here's a question for anyone who has installled a body lift on any
vehicle (I have not, thus the question).

When you install a body lift kit, do the lift "blocks" replace the body
mounts, or do they go on top or below the body mounts?  If they are
added to the body mounts, what do new body mounts cost?  ~$80 from SSS?
Are there cheaper "generic" body mounts you can use?  Do you want rubber
or polyurethane (I'm not sure this is the right word, but I'm working on
4 hours sleep right now).  What would be the price difference?

Anyone want to add input to this?
