OneGreaseForAllApplications?

To JohnL (and the IH group),
Thanks John! on the grease issue. I will soon again reread the tube
and see if they specifically recommend wheel bearings. I believe
they do, but I am curious to check. As I use the Castrol SynTec for
various applications, I will let you know what I think. I can think
of three discrete areas of usage: a) general purpose ball joint,
steering, etc..., b) trailer submersible wheel bearings, and c) front
disc brake wheel bearings. One other item I forgot, is that
molybdenum, a metallic element, is often used in grease. I see it
touted as an asset, but somewhere I read that it comes into it's
element if the grease dries up. I guess it adds a safety buffer if
one is delinquent in the lubrication schedule.

I have only one standard size grease gun and it is messy to swap
cylinders, so I seek one grease for all applications, if it exists.
Let the search continue -- all comments invited! Mark
