BRAKE FAILURE Light

I got more time to work on the '72 Scout this weekend and went after the
wiring.  I got the Hella H-4s transfered to the Scout from the Blazer
then went after the lights on the dash.  What is the BRAKE FAILURE light
for?  Is it a sick joke?  Does this light come on just before you smash
into something because your brakes don't work anymore?  Or does it come
on when the brakes are warn badly or out of adjustment?

The '72 has two lights for the brakes. The PARKING BRAKE light and the
BRAKE FAILURE light.
