Locks???

OK, here's my question:

	I just got my door lock inserts from Super Scout I want to the junk
yard to get the rest of the lock assembly.  The old inserts came out
easily!  Thhe new ones seemed to fit snug in the lock assembly housing.
Is this normal.  Anyway when the key is inserted into the new lock that
is in the lock housing/shaft (I don't have my Scout today to put the
whole thing In)  Should the key turn in the new housing,  

What have I done wrong???  are there different lock housings on
different scouts, they all REALLY looked the same to me! they seem to be
of the same size.  Or did super scout sand me the wrong stuff?

PS, the locking pins in the new inserts seem bigger than the old inserts
if this helps anyone give me an answer...  I HATE waiting for somthing
to arrive for 2 weeks only to find out I can't get it together!
